Trustee Joe Aragona grew up in Clinton Township working at his family’s small business, Aragona Family Jewelers. He is a Kiwanian, Goodfellow, Ambassador for the Macomb Humane Society, and sits on the Young Professionals Board of the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce. He bought his first home here in Clinton Township back in 2015. He’s committed to ensuring that Clinton Township is a great place to work, play, and raise a family.

Joe graduated from Lutheran High School North in Macomb Township in 2006. He attended Oakland University and earned a B.S. in Biomedical Diagnostics. Plotting a course away from his degree, he started working shortly after graduation for the House of Representatives. He worked as Chief of Staff for Representative Anthony Forlini. "I was so proud to be able to help my community," Aragona said, "it was a true honor." While working for the House he helped passed legislation to combat the opioid crisis. He also helped pass the ABLE Act which empowers people with disabilities to help themselves.  

Joe was elected to the Trustee board in Clinton Township in 2016. He is focused on a fiscally responsible budget, defending the police, and making Clinton Township a great place to live.
